I

EXACTLY!

Some people can't mind their business.

And then some people hate other people for no reason.

And then SOME people post things that get people all riled up and never answer any questions logically if people dare to disagree with them.

Such is the P&R forum!

Luckily, these people are becoming the minority in regards to this issue. So they can grow old and hateful all they want.

Marriage is for a man and a woman, not two sexually gender confused individuals.

It's time to stop making a mockery of marriage.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

gay marriage <-------

Ya don't be cheating those large male dogs out of a meaningful relationship. Dogs love people too.

Some dogs seem to have a lot more sense than some people! And there are certainly some relationships where one treats the other like a dog, or worse. But otherwise you really are being ridiculous!!!

If that's the case then just stand up to your wife James. Show her she's not the boss of you.

Good for North Carolina.

For the first time, more than half the country agrees with Obama about gay marriage.

Deal with it. Or move.

more than half the country has always been against it....

Ohhhhhhhh, you mean they agree with what he "said" recently. I see.

Well, polls are polls and all depend upon where they are taken/how they are taken.

Different pool samples give different results.

A true continuous poll would sample the exact same people over a course of time. Otherwise it's skewed. For all we know 90% of the country is actually for homosexual marriage. Hell, maybe 90% is against it. Polls don't mean squat.

The nation is progressing. I know people would love to think it isn't, but it simply is. A President coming out for gay marriage is, in this country, a pretty big deal. And a poll showing that more than half of the people polled agree with him is also a big deal. I know there are people who love to sit here and compare it to something ridiculous like marrying a dog or a television or some other nonsense, but that's simply not the way the majority of this nation is thinking anymore.

But anyway, back to the spewing of the hatred and the advocating parents to punch their children if they're gay. Yeehaw.

You have an obvious prejudice against canines.

the exact same people over a course of time.

The exact same people DIE over a long enough course of time! Even if they are pig-headed, homophobic rednecks!

A few people are actually open-minded enough to change and evolve their opinions over time.

The real change occurs with a new, more enlightened generation!
