Different pool samples give different results.

A true continuous poll would sample the exact same people over a course of time. Otherwise it's skewed. For all we know 90% of the country is actually for homosexual marriage. Hell, maybe 90% is against it. Polls don't mean squat.

And a poll showing that more than half of the people polled agree with him is also a big deal.
