CSC to NVC Timeline

I updated the timeline for the K-1 visa's cases from the CSC to the NVC...

If you got a NVC case number and it is not on the time line then just post your information in here as I will be updating the timeline again.

I-751 10yr Green Card

01-07-10 Approval Letter for the 10yr Green Card

01-15-10 Production Email Regarding the Green Card from USCIS

01-28-10 Green Card received from USCIS

US Citizenship

10-19-10 Mailed N-400 packet to Texas via Priority Mail

10-22-10 Packet was delivered after being forwarded to Dallas

10-27-10 Check was finally cashed by USCIS

10-30-10 I-797C Notice of Action (NOA) Received

11-02-10 RFE Text Message, and Email Received (Must be the Biometrics)

11-08-10 Biometrics Letter Received for 11/17/2010

11-17-10 Biometrics was done with in five minutes of reaching at 8:00am

12-06-10 Testing, and Interview email status received via email from USCIS with information to expect a letter shortly with appoinment time.

1-13-11 Interview Passed with form N-652 checked [box A] with congrats you have been recommended for finally approval.

1-13-11 USCIS JAX officer said the Oath letter will come in two or three months.

2-23-11 Oath Ceremony Letter was received for March 17th for 9am in the GNV Federal Court House

3-17-11 Oath Certificate was received at the oath ceremony, and appointment made for US passport for Monday 3-21-11.

This whole process has to be the most insane thing I have been a part of. CSC and NVC just provide now help at all. There just simply has to be an easier way for everyone involved.

Agreed.. How hard can it be for the USCIS to have a tracking system in place after cases are approved where the approved couple can simply use the receipt number and see if there case has left the service center.

If the USCIS actually had a tracking system in place the NVC and USCIS would not get bombarded with phone calls so often, and most of us would not have to be on the edge after waiting the allowed time.

Maybe in 10yrs a online tracking system will be in place thats has detailed information from the time you start this whole process to the time your case get to the US Embassy!!

Just found out our petition was sent to Manila last week on 11 Oct. The idiot still have not replied to my email request and I still have not figured out how to track the damn thing by DHL. But at least it was sent according to NVC, not sure when they received it as i called them 10 Oct and they claimed they had not received it yet. Payato

22 Jul 06 - Received NOA-1

18 Sep 06 - Received NOA2 in mail

11 Oct 06 - Case MNL783xxx received by Manila Embassy... guess NVC lied

26 Dec 06 - Received Packet 4

18-19 Jan 07 - Medical complete early, scheduled 8 Feb

19 Jan - CFO completed after SLE shots... have to go back for the stamp after visa approval

15 Feb 07 - Interview Approved

24 Feb 07 - Arrive at Honolulu POE

2 Apr 07 - Married, civil ceremony, mailed AOS

17 Apr 07 - Checks cashed for AOS & AP

22 Apr 07 - Filed Expedite for AP

8 May 07 - Biometrics Appt

8 May 07 - Filed complaint with local USCIS for no action on Expedite request

9 May 07 - AP Expedite approved via email

14 May 07 - received AP I-512L documents in the mail

25 Jun 07 - AOS Interview scheduled but cancelled due to deployment and family emergency

29 Nov 07 - Visited local USCIS to reschedule AOS interview

15 Jan 08 - Local USCIS finally forwards reschedule request after formal complaint

8 Feb 08 - Received new Interview date

28 Mar 08 - AOS Interview ..investigation reopened due to incorrect birthdate that was identified 05/07

16 Apr 08 - CRIS Notice of GC approval and welcome notice via email

25 Apr 08 - GC received finally!

15 Jan 10 - Mailed Lifting of Conditions Package

19 Jan 10 - Package received at VT USCIS

22 Jan 10 - Checked cashed by USCIS

26 Jan 10 - Received NOA dated 20 Jan 10

29 Jan 10 - Received NOA for Biometrics

October 10 - Consulate in Naples received package

K-1 Visa process

April 19, 2006 Sent I-129F

September 7, 2006- NOA2 APPROVED!!!! ** Approved in 141 days

December 5, 2006 K-1 visa in hand

December 28, 2007 Our Wedding Day

AOS process

April 11, 2007 Sent I-485 for AOS

June 28, 2007 Interview - Green card is on its way

Good to know that more people around 9-7-06 and 9-11-06 are getting NVC numbers as the amount of people waiting in that time frame is going down!!
