Congrats! You managed to post a piece by someone who hasn't even passed a bar exam. The authors opinion is worth about as much as yours.

Says the guy who posted an article offering the opinions of a guy who had fat from his as$ injected into his forehead on live tv and a lawyer who believes that US citizens should not be allowed to own firearms.

is that what you meant to say?

I meant that Martin may have only ran far enough to be out of sight of Zimmerman's vehicle. His girlfriend told him not to run. We're all trying to figure out what happened in the span of about 2 minutes before the confrontation because obviously if Martin continued running or even walking, he would've probably made it home. I think the rest of it I explained what could have happened. I can only speak for myself, but if I thought some stranger acting bizarre was following me and I'm trying to walk home in the dark and the rain, I'd definitely try to lose him and if I felt that he might continue following me on foot, I'd stop walking home, try to hide somewhere and watch where the stranger goes. If I saw the guy on foot looking for me, I'd probably confront him and ask him why he's following me home. I'd be miffed, to say the least and probably have a high dose of adrenaline running through my veins at that point. I'd consider his behavior threatening and would be prepared to defend myself by any means necessary if he turned out to be a lethal threat to my life (like if I discovered he was packing a gun). Now, if the stranger would tell me that he's on neighborhood watch and was wondering what I was doing out in the dark and in the rain, then I'd relax a little, but I'd still be miffed by his strange behavior and suggest to him that he find a more neighborly way of watching the hood, rather than pretending he's Miami Vice.

I would never reapproach a stranger...if I know the route to my front door is pedestrian only I'd run as fast as I could.

It would depend on the circumstances, for me anyway. There were no adults at the home that he was staying and it wasn't his own home. His girlfriend was alone. He may have felt protective of her privacy.

I just saw where the gf is saying she heard Trayvon saying get off, get off. I didn't remember hearing that before so I pulled up a video from march 20 where they are quoting the girl but fail to mention that get stuff. I have to wonder if her story is evolving like some of the other witnesses

Trayvon Martin's girlfriend told ABC News late Monday night her final phone conversation with him before he was shot dead by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman.

The girl, whose parents requested not to make her name public, was questioned by the Martin family's attorney Benjamin Crump and described that her boyfriend was cornered by Zimmerman.

"He said this man was watching him, so he put his hoodie on," she said. "He said he lost the man. I asked Trayvon to run, and he said he was going to walk fast. I told him to run but he said he was not going to run."

"Trayvon said, 'What, are you following me for.' And the man said, 'What are you doing here.' Next thing I hear is somebody pushing, and somebody pushed Trayvon because the head set just fell. I called him again and he didn't answer the phone."

Ah, ok. Thanks, Dan. Sorry for getting that wrong.

Yeah, that doesn't coincide with her account that the phone went dead after she heard him being shoved. However, if the phone fell onto the grass, the call could have still been connected and then she might have heard something.

That change in her story goes from offering no info on who made first contact to laying the first contact onto zimmerman. Probably just a coincidence

Actually, she indicated from the beginning that Zimmerman initiated the confrontation by saying she heard Trayvon being shoved.

We broadcast excerpts of the chilling recording of a prosecutor’s interview with Trayvon’s girlfriend. She and Trayvon were talking on the phone in the moments leading up to his death. "I know he was scared," the girl recounts. "I told him, 'Keep running!' ... He told me the guy was getting real close to him. And the next I hear is [Trayvon saying], 'Why are you following me for?' … I heard this man... say, 'What are you doing around here?' ... And I call Trayvon, 'Trayon, what's going on? What’s going on?’ ... Then, I am calling him and he didn’t answer...You could hear someone had bumped Trayvon...I was still screaming, I was saying, 'Trayvon! Trayvon!'...And then the next thing the phone just shut off." [includes rush transcript]

which is quite silly because the sound of Trayvon being shoved would be the same sound as Trayvon shoving. That's why she had to add the words, Trayvon saying "get off"

Next she could say "I heard Zimmerman Smack him twice with his left hand, Then Trayvon ducked just in time to dodge his right hand. Then I heard Trayvon hit that guy in the

nose by accident when he raised his hands in defense

No, I believe it's possible the phone actually cut off because she was also talking about she conversed with him all during that day and kept getting cut off - that , and the fact I've had Tmobile before lol and found their service stinks around here where I live (it does the same thing).

that must have been quite the physical impact on that shove ... especially to have heard the physical impact of a shove from a distance ...

maybe shove was the wrong word to use ... to hear the physical impact of a shove this contact would be more of a hit / strike / wallop / thump / blow / slap ...

GIRLFRIEND: Yeah. I hear something like bump. You could hear that Trayvon—somebody bumped Trayvon. I could hear the grass.

POLICE OFFICER:
OK. So you could hear there was something going on.

GIRLFRIEND:
Yeah.

POLICE OFFICER:
Like something hitting something?

GIRLFRIEND:
Yeah.

POLICE OFFICER:
OK.

GIRLFRIEND:
You can hear—I can hear the grass thing.
