How hard is it to request specific travel outside the US while waiting on AOS/AP/EAD paperwork ? We would like to travel back to the Philippines for a second wedding there next April so her family can be present.

Thanks in advance.

For people who are adjusting, you should ask for a multi-entry AP and you don't need to state specific travel plans. The only hassle is getting AP/EAD in time for your trip. But if you are marrying and adjusting soon you should have EAD in 3 months or so, plenty of time to leave next April.

Do not travel BEFORE you have AP. But as the others have said, it is not difficult to get at all.

Thanks everyone. I'm a planner, I like to know what I'm up against, even though she isn't here yet!

Chance favors the well prepared mind.
