Hi,

My wife was blessed to finally get her permanent residence about a week ago. She came in on a K1. At the interview the guy said since we were married less than a year we will have to come back for another interview. She also has an EAD. She still does not have a SSN? So I am wondering should we go after that next? If so how do we go about it, if not what is the next step? She is pregnant and not working at the moment and probably won't work until at least sometime in February.

Don't know about the other interview, unless they are talking about the one in a couple of years to remove conditions. You can just go to the SSA now and get a green card for her, make sure you take along her green card and id papers, to save you hassles.
