So, my wife came here to the US back in November on a K1 visa, we got married within the 90 days and now are looking to do her AOS. I have the following questions.

1. I have no idea where her I-94 paper is, I know they gave it to her when she passed through customs but neither of us have any idea where its at. Is this a big problem, how can we get around this or get another? There's an entry stamp in her passport.

2. For the English translation of her Birth Certificate, whats the proper way to have this done, does it need to be done by someone certified? If so, what kind of certification and how can I verify that it will be ok?

3. Any idea how long the AOS's are running right now?

Im sure Ill have more when I get started but I would appreciate any help you guys can give, TIA!

1.) You really need to find the I-94 if at all possible. It is required for filing AOS. To get a replacement, you need to file form I-102, and it will cost you $330.

2.) Anyone fluent in both languages can do the translation. See this link: http://www.visajourney.com/content/translations

3.) EAD/AP takes about 2-3 months for approval, and the green card takes on average 4-6 months. Those that are getting transferred to CSC for processing are having to wait longer now, some over 6 months.
