NOT ALL K-1 Fiance Visas are processed though NVC. Maybe 95% are but if you are in the unluck remaining 5% it could be processed through one of the other centers within the department of state. so if you are looking for a case number like I was there are a few places within the department of state to get it. I would just call the department of state once I had my approval letter to avoid delay. I did not find this information on this site anywhere not sure if I missed it doesnt matter at this point so please dont feel the need to point it out at this point. Im just letting anyone else know who is going through this step
