You'll have 87 days (USUALLY) to respond to an RFE. I would be more concerned about getting an interview letter while you are away.

Do interview letters occasionally come prior to RFEs? I've been following several of these threads and I haven't seen that before.

Your joking right? Just ask them to pick up your mail. They would only open the ONE LETTER that's from the USCIS .

Yeah, I laughed at this too. OP, you do realize that if you get two pieces of mail, and one is an envelope from USCIS and the other is a Sears catalogue, it's not like the guy collecting your mail would have to actually read every page of the Sears catalogue before checking the USCIS envelope, right?
