Hi everyone,

I need any and all advice...we waited so long for our packet 3, (took over a month) and were waiting for our packet 4.

I happened to email the embassy on Friday to see if they had scheduled a date yet.

They responded by saying his interview was May 22nd (tomorrow)

He just got the packet 4 today when he got home from work.

All the doctors are gone, so he can't schedule anything for his medical, etc.!

Do you think they can reschedule for us???? Would not going to the interview be automatic grounds for denial??

I don't even know if they will get the fax he just sent about rescheduling by the normal interview time! This is ridiculous!!!!

Please, any advice?? Should he show up anyway without medical results and bring them in another time? I thought all the forms and the medical had to be done by the time of the interview (at the Paris, France embassy anyway it does)!!

I think he should still go to the interview! have him take what he has and explain the situation. hopefully they will understand and let him bring back the medical and what ever else he needs at a latter time.

i think it would be better to go and explain what happened than just not show up.

Good Luck!

Hey, I see that you are UK, but you need the Paris email?

At any rate, the embassy email is: ParisConIV@state.gov

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions! He ended up going to the interview, but just has to get his medical.

We will see how it works out..!!
