Dear VJ Memebers,

This is my first post and my first questions…I’m sorry my timeline in not fully up to date, will work on it…

I really hope that someone can help me out with my question.

After waiting for week, today when I called National Visa Centre to inquire about my wife case status, they said her case is completed and approved. However, interview date is not issued yet, because they waiting on the embassy to send a date. The person at NVC said they only issue interview date at the end of each month, is that correct or do they issue interview date throughout the month? By the way my wife interview will be in Pakistan (Islamabad).

Can you some please advise on this issue, so I can be at peace and know her date will come soon?? All or any help is highly appreciated

Thanks

Ali

Inshallh you'll get the date of your interview soon. When I called for my husband's update last year around end of May, they said all the interview dates for June were filled and they were trying to schedule it as soon as possible. We were notified 2 weeks later that my husband's interview was scheduled for July.

No I dont mind at all. Yes he is in AP and most men from Pakistan are put in AP and rarely some females are put in AP as well. My brother and I applied for our spouses at the same time. My sister in law had her interview on July 8th 2011 and was approved right away. I hope your wife gets approved too. AP is very difficult and I dont wish for anyone to have to go through this. Please keep us updated on your wife's progress. Best of luck to you!!

When I called NVC for my wife's interview date, I got almost the same answer. Do you know any official documentation that tells Interview date is scheduled only first or second week of the month?? or this is just general practice of NVC....

Hi,

Thanks for your wishes and I pray and hope soon you will get good news about your husband also...now I’m just waiting for the e-mail so I’ll know when my wife interview is and also when she can go and get her medical done...I hope and pray that no one is put on AP, since i know how hard it is to be away from your love one, especially during hard times...May Allah help us All...

quick question: you said that most likely my wife interview will be in July, would that be beginning of July or not sure?
