You can't change the rules in the middle of a game. It takes nothing short of an act of god to amend the Constitution. If Obama was born outside of the US like Stalin was born in Georgia then he's broken a sacred rule and must be dealt with accordingly along with anyone who had knowledge of him being born outside the US.

I agree to that.

But I still think it isn't an essential condition - not as essential as it was in the 18th century.

And yes I do agree with you the US screwed Romania big time along with the rest of Eastern Europe and it's a stain on our history.

Each contry has to do the best for itself and its citizens, no biggie. Hypocrisy, though, gets to me. Or brainwashed people, can't figure out which is the worse.

These people love labels....they try to stick em' on everyone who disagrees with them, all the while crowing about liberal "open-mindedness." What a joke.....

Oh come on. Please do not pretend both sides are not guilty of this.

But they're hungry!

And it's fun to watch. I feel like I'm at the zoo and the animals are behaving oddly.

Just the way it makes people sheep, right? ;)

Try adding something of consequence to a thread in P&R or better yet go play in O/T. Try a game in that forum. I think you would find it more your speed.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Don't you miss Canada/Quebec? I sure do. All those different points of view from all over the world. I learned alot in my 2 years in Montreal. Even though I froze my a$$ off there, it was the most diverse place I have seen in my travels.

Meah, we have those too. But my culture is racist, so I'll sue everyone discriminating me because I am a racist, because that's just my culture, and I should be allowed to practice it, righty?

It's essential. One look at the Bolshevik dictators who migrated from other countries in order to destroy a people is proof of that.

And no the US did not do the best of itself by screwing over Eastern Europe including Romania. We had the atom bomb then and we should dropped one on Moscow. Instead our country lied through it's teeth about the crimes of the USSR in order to make them look like a worthy ally. Romania should have never lost Moldovia, and Russia should have been divided into thirds. It was because of our failure to act accordingly that millions of people suffered post WW2 along with hundreds of thousands of people being deported to Soviet labor camps. Again it's a dark spot on our history.

I miss Canada, definitely, but not for very political reasons. I do miss the diversity and the people, for sure. It's been an interesting transition, but if I had the choice to move back tomorrow, I wouldn't.

She didn't offer any evidence to support it.

The only thing that comes close to being evidence offered in this non-story supports that an agency underling made a mistake - that evidence being what the then underling has said. Now that may be weak evidence. But it's the only evidence out there - the testimony of the person that wrote the bio as printed. Everything else is pure speculation without anything even close to evidence to support it. Sorry but that's what you're looking at.

Yeah I had a good deal. I got to live there without having to pay the 50% taxes. In the end I was deported and told to never return. I got a free lunch and a one way ticket to DFW. Ce'st la vie.

I have posted the literary agent's own site, with the requirement clearly stating that the client would submit their own biographical data. It's clear.

No, it's not. There's no requirement to submit "biographical data" stated in what you posted. "Tell us who you are" does not translate into "submit your biographical data and tell us when and where and to whom you were born". I'm sorry but you're reading more into this than what is there. Probably what you hoped to find or what the folks over at Breitbart and World Nut Daily tell you to pretend as having been entered into evidence but when you take a close look for yourself, you will inevitably find that it just isn't there. You're easily impressed, I get it. Don't expect others to be. I don't take people that should be in straightjackets seriously. You shouldn't either.

Submission Requirements

Contrary to popular belief, we like our unsolicited queries to be concise, well-written and well-proofed, and as devoid of gimmicks as possible. Tell us who you are (past writing credits or celebrity status is helpful to know about but not mandatory), what your project is (a summary paragraph is good), and whether you have submitted this project to the entire publishing community already.

Well, to be fair, Peter_Pan isn't from this country and has never been to this country, so that would seem to be a pretty good reason to not know about the natural born citizen clause.

Granted, I get that, especially from Ms. PP. All the more reason a rational foreigner would likely have a bit of regard for their soon to be new country of residence.

BTW, isn't it high time to change that birth law? Seems rather unfair.

I really don't care about the Constitution of a foreign country. Go figure.

Come on, why was it placed? Constitutions change, they aren't the Holy Bible, enlighten me how the three century old criterion still aplies nowadays.

The comment in red highlight ensures you can't be "enlightened."
