Hello all,Well I spent almost 2 hours on the phopne to USCIS Call centre last night(calling from England so call was not free)first off gets this girl on there and I asked her how my waiver was going and if it was within their processing timescale, she said has it been over 180 days, yes I said over 210 days and counting,ok says she let me put you on hold,20 minutes later, she says Im tranfersing you to a customer rep, another 40 minutes, then gets girl number 2 who is a bit more abrupt and asked for all my details again, gets them I explain again, then she says ,just let me put you on hold for a minute(that means 10 minutes)she comes back with the news that my waiver will not take the 3/12 weeks that I was told at Vancouver Con,nor will it take the 6 months I was told by the peeps at Vermont but the expected time for your i601 waiver through Vermont will be 12 to 18 months!!!!!!!!!!,so I sat there stunned and silent for a while as she droned on about fax numbers etc,but she could not/would not explain to me why that is the timescale all she said was at the end,you have a good day now, goodbye.God bless the USCIS.

So sorry to hear this KTM. I hope it doesn't take as long as they stated. Maybe that is a worse case prediction.

Just don't know what to say. This whole process just sucks so much.

Best wishes,

Vicky

So sorry to hear that you had to waste your time on idiots, too bad you can't keep calling them without paying for it...one thing I've learn is that they ALL don't know how to do they're job. I'm sure if you call back you'll get a completely different story, hang in there and hope for the best.
