I hope this is the right area. Currently me and my thai wife are in thailand trying to book a return flight home to america. Originally we were going to stop make a stop over in japan but because she has a thai passport and didn't obtain a visa she wasn't granted access. At the moment, she has a green card and must use her thailand passport to travel. My question is, will we face problems when she tries to enter america? We have our marriage certificate, but i was reading that sometimes, because the names on the passport and the green card are different, we might run into problems. If we are to run into problems, what are some ways we could go around this to get back home? Thanks for your help.

even if she has a thailand passport in her mardin name , and a permanent resident ,greem card in her married name and brings her marriage certificate she should have no problems, not sure about japan, call the airline not sure if you need a japan visa.
