If he had an arm free, he could have pulled it and rotated it at the same time while firing. He was shot in the chest right?

It would be interesting what type of holster he had, I assume its probably an inside the waist band type and not a pocket version.

It appears to be the inside the waist band type. Here are the evidence photos I've been looking at. It shows the holster among other things. http://wusa9.com/news/article/205733/158/PHOTOS-Released-From-Trayvon-Martin-Crime-Scene-George-Zimmerman-Injury

Oh and yes, he was shot in the chest.

The kind you wear in the small of your back, or the one you wear on your side? 9mm holsters are bulky, so it would be obvious if he wore it on his side. Either way, it would be difficult to draw and fire either one if he was pinned on his back.

Naturally he could. No magic here. Of course fancypants has indicated on past threads that he (in his vast gun-handling experience) believes drawing and firing a pistol is as difficult as achieving moksha.....

I noticed his hands were injury free in those photos, was there any damage to Trayvon's body other than the gunshot wound?

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

From what I gather from reports , it was on his side.

That holster isn't bulky at all. It could have been positioned anywhere on his right side, from small of the back, to appendix carry- and either positioned inside the waistband or inside the belt. The pistol is a Kel-Tec PF9. It's extremely compact and slimmer than any other pistol in this caliber. No magic here.

If it was positioned on his side (in other words clearly visible) this would give a person cause to be completely terrified if they're confronted in the dark by that individual wouldn't you say? Now if the person were to shove you, causing you to drop your phone, that would make you want to stand your ground right? Maybe try to fight for your life even?

Maybe, maybe, maybe....

But why do you say it was clearly visible? I wore a pistol IWB on my side years before I switched to appendix. I never had a problem with flashing my pistol...

Edited to add......why would you say it would be clearly visible under these circumstances?

If it was worn on his side, I would imagine it could be hard to miss, if there was a "martial arts style" fighting as one witness said- whatever that means (I doubt either one of them looked like Jackie Chan), but nonetheless, under those circumstances it would become apparent.

Are you really an adult, or a 13yr old playing with your Mom's computer?

You seem to want to believe that I'm some sort of liberal against guns. I have nothing against protecting oneself. I considered owning one myself when I was single and lived alone. All of my brothers own guns for protection and hunting and so forth. But they're not mental cases like Zimmerman. And there's alot of evidence out there that indicates to me that he is in fact off his rocker. I think it IS a problem for someone with his history of nutcase, aggressive behavior to be toting a gun around.
