Anyone here meet your fiancee on facebook? I mean like suggested by relatives of friends? Did you put in your "how we meet letter" the exact date (ei. we meet on facebook last november ___, 2010) or just put month and year? Because my fiancee and I cant recall when the exact date and cant see on our facebook timeline when we become FB friend.

Anyone can share/help same story with mine and give me an idea what to do.

While we did not meet on Facebook, we did meet online. If we're talking about question 18 in the I-129F, we just wrote the month and year of when we met online, and then the dates of when we met in person in more detail.

While we did not meet on Facebook, we did meet online. If we're talking about question 18 in the I-129F, we just wrote the month and year of when we met online, and then the dates of when we met in person in more detail.

We met on Facebook, by chance, not through friends/relatives. I just put the month and year we met and that it was on Facebook, playing a game. I then outlined our meetings since then, dates and what we've done during the trips.

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we've abandoned this application

We married on Aug 24, 2013 in a small ceremony in MA

We'll be applying for a CR1 / IR1 visa as soon as we are able

yes we did meet on fb...maybe try your email that you used for your fb...i'm pretty sure everything is there...because our still save on my email.(u know that notification we received thru email)

The longer it takes to happen the more you'll appreciate it when it does!

I believe question 18 on the I-129F form is asking when you met in person, not when did you meet as in when were you introduced. They are asking here for you to describe under what circumstances have you been physically together within the two years preceeding when you filed the petition.

We met on Facebook after her sister gave each of us the other's contact info. If I scroll back far enough, I can read our entire chat history. Our first contact was July 27th, 2011. With a little luck,we'll get married on the one year anniversary.

It's asking when you met in person, not when you first became friends/involved. It's to make sure you met the "meet in person in the last 2 years" requirement. And yes if asked a month is fine instead of an exact date. I say Sept 2007.
