Hey, our case is en route to NVC for over 2 weeks already and it's killing me. What king of mail takes 2 weeks, you know?

I am so ready to give up...

Well, let's be honest. No mail takes two weeks from the west coast to the east coast. They just told you something to keep you silent for a while. Your petition is probably sitting in a box somewhere waiting for more processing.

I know that everywhere in the US it takes up to 3 days to send something...but NVC research keeps on saying it's en route. Well the first time we sent them an email they said it was still in CSC, so I hope they did actually send it to NVC 2 weeks ago. But can you imagine waiting for 2 months just for NVC to receive your approved petition? That is so unfair, people get the case number within the 3 weeks and I wait for 2 months to just know it's at NVC. I haven't seen my husband for 7 months! Anyway, Yulya is from Russia, so we are neighbors, I live in Ukraine. Lived in Siberia for half of my life though and do consider myself Russian too :) Good luck to us!

It's rough, that's for sure! We've been waiting almost a month sine NOA2 and NVC has no record of our petition. Haven't seen her since last October. We thought she would have been here by now, and we're both getting so depressed that we need to wait more and more and more...

You are getting depressed??!!! Hello, it's been 2 months since my petition was approved! I am super depressed and it's not just my fiance, you know, it's my husband. I haven't seen him since January. I am praying for it to be ok, there is nothing else left to do, I have done everything I could!

We're all depressed. Whether it's a week or a year, fiances or spouses. This is a grueling process for everyone.

today is exactly 1 month, NVC doesn't have my case. I called USCIS " they sent my case to NVC on the 15th........" This is driving me crazy.

That's ridiculous!!

Does that mean USCIS sent your case out on the 15th of May.. Or the 15th of JUNE!?

One of the more positive things I've recently btw is that when people wait 3 - 4 weeks + they seem to get their case numbers pretty quick after NVC receives their petition. None of this waiting for another month for the case number silliness.

Just called NVC. They don't have my case yet. Told me call back on Tuesday, and if they don't have it by then they'll go looking for it. I have noticed from Igor's list though that most VSC filers who got their NOA2s in late May, their petitions were received at NVC already. The hold up is most definitely at CSC.

Yup, CSC operator explained to me it is a time consuming task to process and forward the cases to NVC because it involves personal and classified information. So they have to be really careful.

Maybe they don't use USPS but they have their own knight templars wagon escort the case from CA all the way to Boston on foot, that would make sense.

Yeah, real time consuming. So when it was only taking a week they weren't being as careful? I'm so sick of all this red tape!
