yes you are right NVC are very slow.. Now, I am more worried reading your post coz ours has no case no. yet it will be 1 month tomorrow ( July 5th ) since our NOA 2..Now, I know it's not an easy situation dealing this visa journey tears, worries and stress are what I am dealing now. I'm glad you have a case number finally.. may I ask if you are Cr-1 or k3?

Thank You! They gave me the case number last week and issue me Invoice#, but I could not pay until the case get into their system which can take up from 10-20 days, that's what they told me but the case got into their system few days ago. I am not even close of being finish :(, NVC is pretty slow. I hope you will get your case soon, keep me update and let me know what is going on.

May I ask if you have shifted from k3 to cr-1? I was in k3 also but since both petitions ( 129f and I-130 ) got the same date of approval so we followed CR-1 path.. like you we don't have case no. yet also we got our noa2 june 5th, 2012. Do I need to call USCIS to inform them that we are following CR-1 instead so that they will forward our case to NVC? Thanks.

I replied to you on the other topic (NVC did not receive our case). Our petition was also approved on april 23rd and NVC did not receive our case yet!
