I got my SSN and I'm ready to work now. Where do I search? Do you have any websites you can recommend?

I have a master's degree in cultural tourism plus successful experience in statistical data analysis (tourism related data), what kind of job do you think I could apply for here?

I'm fine with changing fields if necessary, basically any kind of office work would be okay to start (I taught MS Office softwares before so I'm an advanced user, not to say "expert").

googling job websites for your state /county ( thats how I found mine, on a state specific job site )

careerbuilder.com and LinkedIn are also good websites to sign up for. Maybe check temp agencies? That's usually a good way to get generic office jobs.

craigslist.org, but be aware of scams.

I would look for jobs in your field at first.

Oh, and idealist.org for work with non-profit companies, if you like that.

Indeed.com is another great site that pulls in job information from all over the place. You can set up searches and have it email you when it matches keywords, etc.

Co-sign on LinkedIn. In addition to filling out your profile with your career details, be sure to join a few groups relevant to your field. Those groups attract a variety of people and often jobs are posted there that aren't included in LinkedIn's job search. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! I've had a profile on LinkedIn for years but I haven't updated it in a while. I'll take a look at all these websites you mentionned!
