Sent wrong check with K1

I sent my package at the end of April and sent the wrong dollar amount on the check, any idea how long it takes to get e package back? I just found out that we have a baby on the way and would like the child to be here when it is born....

2-3 weeks usually. Plan on the baby being born there and having to do a CRBA for the child and getting a US passport for the child.

I am going to add also that if you got the check amount wrong, a very basic and perfectly clear instruction, I am going to surmise it is possible you got some other stuff wrong. Going way out on a limb here.

Check the entire package and read the instructions again before rushing to the post office with a new check. The rejection letter will not point out any other errors, do not assume because it mentions only the check that is the only thing wrong. You do not want to have RFEs if you are in any kind of hurry to get your fiancee and child here.

Some people here on VJ are confused about the Visa Processing Fee being changed, It's $240.00 now for K1 , BUT the filing fee for the I-129F is still $340.00 I think that caused alot of confusion and I have seen many ppl getting RFE's for the wrong check amount. Good Luck To You

Some people here on VJ are confused about the Visa Processing Fee being changed, It's $240.00 now for K1 , BUT the filing fee for the I-129F is still $340.00 I think that caused alot of confusion and I have seen many ppl getting RFE's for the wrong check amount. Good Luck To You

Thank you everybody, surprisingly, I got it today when I got home. I appreciate the fact. Prior to sending, I had my future brother in law review the entire package as he went through the process a 2 years ago. I confident that nothing else is wrong with the package.
