Got case # from NVC today and scheduled Embassy Interview

:dance: I am so excited today. I called the NVC this morning and no case #. I called at this evening and got a case #, so try a couple of times a day. My fiancee had paid the VISA fee yesterday, so I went to the online appointment system and scheduled her Embassy interview for June 4th. NVC informed me that if there are no issues with the K1 petition packet I sent and had approved on May 2nd, that they normally send the packet to the Embassy within 3-5 business days. The packet is transmitted electronically to the Embassy, so I picked June 4th for her interview date and she will have her medical done on May 21st and 22nd. I printed out the interview confirmation letter in a PDF and also clicked to send it by e-mail, which I already have and gave to her. I will have her do her CFO Seminar on May 23rd at PRISM since I heard bad things about the other locations. I am just so excited. :dance: I can see the light at the other end of the tunnel now. Keep trying NVC VJ'ers. They will give you the 15 business days speech, but you can call as many times as you want. I wish all who are still waiting good luck and God Speed. :D Take care.

Hi All,

RickJovi-

Wow i didnt know that we could schedule the K-1 interview online. I always thought we had to wait for the consulate to mail my fiancee in India a letter stating the interview date once they recieved all documents.

1)So once I have the NVC case number whats the next step?...if you could please clarify! Thanks

2)Is your fiancee just taking all the packet 3 paperwork to her interview? or is she mailing it into Manila prior to June 4th? Did ur fiancee recieved Packet 4 in the mail or since you know the contents of packet 3 can we just go in person and submit the docs and pay the fee?

Hi guy I had a question what is the appointment letter needed at medical that need to be xeroxed? Is it the NOA 1, NOA2, or is it the hard copy/ email containing the Manila case number? Or is it the visa interview appointment? And where does it come from. Sorry in new at this we need help thank you guys!!!

Hi Prepare your NVC letter w/the case no. if you don't have it yet.. the NOA2 photocopy and provide them with your case no. be sure to get everything ready. Like passport, passport photocopy, 4 2x2 visa photos, your appointment schedule for your interview at US embassy, NVC letter make 2 copies (if u have), your online registration on SLEC (if u did online registration)..
