more information about the DV#

I want some more information about the visa issuance through the DV, I know that each fiscal year DOS issues a 50k visa through the DV program. but in the first stage they send notifications to aprox. 100k.I know some people dies or got disqualified , but what are the other factors that it filters the applicant after the first notification

Second questions: my DV# 2013AS000062XX, and I already sent my application to KY, I want to know my chances to get a visa based on DV, ( I already filed through the marriage but I kept this as a second plan coz my lawyer advised me to do so)

Hi you case number is so good, you will be in first set of people to be call up for interview, if not the second. all you have to do is to get you paper word straight. If I were you the case with the lawyer would be my second hopes and DV first hope.

People don;t take up their DV win because they never check their number and realise they won, or they do not have the money for visa fees, or end up denied due to criminal convictions or not enough financials or lack of education.

Thank you so much for your responses , your information is a big relief for me . I am scheduled for Marriage interview next month, and if I don't get my GC I will just use my second plan which the DV.

Recently many turn down the lottery because of the way things are in the US. Many years ago you could come and find something for work quickly and that is not the case any more. I even know some winners that came then went back home.

you are absolutely right. I have been looking for a job since long time , and I hope after I got my GC my situation will be improved
