This is it? This is the result of "pummeling into the cement"? So bad he didn't even go to the hospital. Definitely beaten within an inch of life. Definitely worth killing a kid over.

You ever had your head pummeled into the cement before? How was it and what were your injuries like? Did you get a concussion?

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Ever heard of gravity? Why is there no blood above the lacerations, or any transfers of blood anywhere? If that photo was meant to tell a story, it doesn't tell the same story that Zimmerman has told. Head wounds bleed profusely until pressure is applied. I have seen enough of them to be familiar with them.

If only I had a nickel for every time I got stitches upside my head. I still have one from when I was 15 that bleeds now and then when I get knocked on my head.

I've had minor accidents that produce worse wounds than those clean, linear cuts.

You'd think, if he was beaten as badly as you all are saying he was, he would have gone to the hospital immediately. Isn't that what people do when suffering major head trauma?

The prosecutor in my opinion brought this case for political reasons. It is so weak that the liberal Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz put it best: "If there are riots, it’s the prosecutor’s fault. Because she over-charged, raised expectations. No reasonable jury is going to convict based on the evidence I know of second degree murder. So this prosecutor not only may have suborned perjury, she may be responsible if there are going to be riots here for raising expectations to unreasonable levels."

After the trial is over; are we going to have another Reginald Denny moment?

This clears up a lot.

Isn't it though? I thought the same thing. The cuts are definitely clean and very linear aren't they? I had a car accident where I had a laceration on the back of my head from smashing it against the car door frame. It didn't look nice and pretty like that one. :P

There is a good puncture, from something other than just a smooth surface, and a contusion on the right side. If that is indeed Zimmerman, he possibly would have a concussion, and possibly blurred vision and confusion for a few minutes. It definitely would have rattled his brain. But, unless they cleaned him up, and then let him sit there and bleed for a while before taking the pictures, this didn't happen with Zimmerman on his back. All that blood was cleaned up by the time he was loaded in the back of the squad car, and taken in to Sanford PD, as the video shows.

I totally agree. The blood from my scalp was insane, I had so much blood loss I went into shock. Head wounds bleed massively. I had to go home and wash tons of blood out of my hair.

None of his actions that night are what people do normally. That's why his story doesn't check out in my opinion.

Unfortunately, people in Florida have no idea what normal people do. They think normal people go out partying while their children are missing.

What's your experience as far as "normal actions" go when you were a member of your local neighborhood watch?

Most volunteer neighborhood watchmen don't take it upon themselves to take a gun out on patrol and follow "suspicious" people around. In fact, they are trained to NOT do that.

Even those in the organization have stated what he did was wrong. Despite what people here believe, they aren't like cops.

Was he breaking the law by packing a firearm? Lots of people legally pack registered firearms.

Where did I say he was breaking the law? I said he was going against what the neighborhood watch organization advises to do.
