Write case number on docs for consulate?

Should I write the case number on all the docs in the top right-hand corner for intake? Does it matter?

Sept 9, 2011: NOA1

March 16, 2012: NOA2

April 10, 2012: NVC Case Number Assigned, AOS Invoice Received

April 11, 2012: OPTIN for EP with DS-3032 sent, AOS bill paid

April 12, 2012: AOS Package Sent

April 17, 2012: IV Bill invoiced, paid

April 19, 2012: IV package sent

April 20, 2012: Checklist for AOS asking for letter of employment, response sent

April 23, 2012: Letter approving DS-230, False checklist for AOS checklist

May 1, 2012: Appointment Letter Received (for May 23rd)

May 22, 2012: Interview canceled pending further medical tests

July 15, 2012: New Appointment letter Received

August 1, 2012: Interview, Approved

Should I write the case number on all the docs in the top right-hand corner for intake? Does it matter?

We used a very small address label and typed the case number on each one so it was uniform and easy to read. We put it on each paper at the top right... We used a pc program to do this. That way, if for any reason the documents were separated they would be able to be put back into the case file easily.

Some do... some don't.. we did and it just gave us a peace of mind that all our docs would remain with the file.

08/19/2013 Received NOIR to respond by 9/18/2013

9/9/2013 Responded to NOIR/USCIS received documents awaiting response

9/20/2013 USCIS reaffirmed sent to embassy

1/04/14 Case opened for review

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

9/10/15 visa received

9/19/15 POE Charlotte

04/02/2011 - NOA1 hard copy received - priority date 03/30/2011
07/08/2011 - Trevor is now a USC - called USCIS to request upgrade of the petition.
08/02/2011 - NOA2
09/08/2011 - LND case number received, medical booked
09/26/2011 - Case complete at NVC
09/30/2011 - Interview date assigned
11/08/2011 - Interview - approved!!
11/10/2011 - Visa in hand
12/04/2011 - POE in Atlanta
12/12/2011 - SSN number received in mail
12/12/2011 - Welcome notice received
01/06/2012 - Green card received
09/06/2013 - File for Removal of Conditions
10/01/2013 - Biometrics for ROC
02/03/2014 - Card production email received

02/17/2014 - 2nd card production email received

02/28/2014 - 10 year Green card received

Our advisor did the same in pen. The more professional you look and act they more they will respect your case. I like the label idea.

My wife and I went so far as writing notes on each of our 63 pictures to end result they even when my wife asked if they want to see pictures they said no.

My case is unusual though I have basically been in china 4 years and taken my wife to Europe and the Caribbean for work for both of us and we have a baby so I am unsure if they just hustled us through because we have a million good things on our side or if it was because we were organized.

Good luck! My wife had her interview on the 9th and ems has already received her visa package!
