Hi guys!

We're working on finalizing the AOS package and I had a few short questions regarding supporting evidence for I-864. In the checklist it says, as you all know, that you need to send in a copy of last years tax return + w2 forms. We got the free tax transcripts from the IRS. Looking through previous questions on the forums you find statements like this:

"You only need to mail in the latest year's transcript with the I-864, however, you need to know the income amounts from the past 3 years for the form. Get transcripts for free from the IRS, then you do not have to worry about finding any returns or W-2s or worry if the returns you send are complete. All you need are transcripts from the IRS. http://www.irs.gov/i...=232168,00.html"

and similar things. So I just wanna ask so that I understand this completely:

Do you either send in a copy or your latest tax return + w2 forms or just the free tax transcripts from IRS? I.e. is it enough with only the free tax transcripts?

Thanks for the help!
