Hi everyone.

We are applying CR1 visa and we just paid 230 USD online. Now we are filling out I-864 form but have some questiones about gross income etc..

My husband is self-employed he filed tax extension this year, so base on his 1040 and Schedule C on 2010, Line 22 on 1040 form shows total income is -96000 USD, On Schedule C shows gross income is 90000 USD. I understand being self employed you want to get as much deduction as you can so on the tax paper shows really low income sometimes just like our case even negative number which worries me a lot. what can we do ?

We dont have 2011 tax paper and base on 2008,2009,2010 tax return papers it doesnt look good at all. We dont want to try co-sponsor unless we have no choice bcs after read I-864 Instruction I think its not that easy to find someone want to do this at all.

So here is what I thought:

Can we get a letter from CPA verify how much money he makes every year?

Dose bank statement from bank(business account)help at all?

Inventory in the warehouse(my husband is the company no partnership)?

real estate ownership?(still have some mortgage to pay tho )

I am thinking better not take 2008,2009 tax paper go to interview at all bcs it looks bad, if we provide all documents I mentioned above will we be fine at the interview?

Thanks !!

does he have any quarterly income statements from his CPA ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

hmmm. since 'you have the file' then i sense you not 'ask the husband'.

please to 'ask the husband' today - 'Do you have any cpa-prepared quarterly income statements?'
