FYI - We just received the K1 visa with passport in the mail this morning..

We sent the initial application from the USA 16 Aug 2011, so the process took 9 months, just like having a baby B-)

This was for a US citizen petitioning for my Indian fiance.

Good Luck to anyone on this same journey,

it's a lot of work, but well worth the effort, we're ecstatic :wow:

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
