why some CR1/IR1 cases take so long time to wait for NOA2

I found more and more Dec. 2011 CR1 cases got approved at CSC, now they can approve a case within 5 months, their backlog has been gone, but why some cases already have waited for 7 or 8 month still no NOA2. our case is Oct.7 2011, still no NOA2, and I know some Sep. cases still waiting also. the answer for our service request is they are under resource constraints, so they delayed many cases, they will make every effort to adjudicate our case in an expeditious fashion. I don't believe it, if they are under resource constraints, Dec. cases could not get approved so fast. and I don't think our case has some problem, and they did not ask for any RFE, SO I really don't know what is the reason for this phenomenon, it's unfair for all long waiting cases.

Is there someone here who knows why they don't deal with case in sequence? or what's wrong with our case which deserve such a delay?

Thanks a lot

Really sorry to hear this. I would advice you stop working within the USCIS system and email your congress person to ask that their immigration liason look into it for u. I contacted mine at exactly 5 months and they were quick to reply. USCIS emailed the liason that it would take 45 days to adjudicate and my case was approved the day after the email.

My husband has contacted his senator and congress, all of them said they put a request to USCIS, but now already more than one week elapsed, no reply from any senoator or congress, how soon you received the reply from your congress?

Thanks

The day after I emailed she called. She took a couple of days to email me a form. I faxed it back and she took 2 days before contacting them. A week later USCIS replied. Two weeks from my contact it was approved.

what word from an ISO, a Tier 2 Human ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

My husband contacted different Tier 2, they only know our case is on an adjudicator desk, then we had 3 service request, the answer from 3 requests are " this case is in extended review, will receive a notice of action( in the form of approval, or denial, or intend to deny or intend to revoke) within 45 days", that's all. then my husband tried to ask what is extended review, one of them asked " did you receive any request for extra information or document?" " no, only receipt with a receipt number" my husband answered, then she said so don't worry, it's normal, just be relaxed. but how can we be relaxed?
