How is anyone reporting mutual funds & real estate - Form I-134

Towards the bottom of the form, there is a questions on personal assets. Now when it came to my real estate, I have not mortgage (fully paid). So under the statement, "with mortages or encumbrances..", I will indicate "$0" but because it has value. My question is did many of you list the value of ur property under the "other personal value?"

Another question and probably not a big deal but most of my liquid funds are in money market mutual funds in an investment company. Of anyone out there that had the same situation, did you folks listed it under "savings in bank". after all its quite liquid. Finally for the real estate value, how did you folks demostrate this? did any of you pull a market comparable listing frm the internet or i would not imagine have it appraise (paid an appraiser?). Oh well maybe i'm worrying for nothing but thanks in advance to your responses.

Okay..i know it has been posted before but how do i know my income is sufficient? How can i calculate this figure? How much should i be making? For anyone else, any input on my original question on the mutual funds and real property will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Find form I-865P for the poverty guidelines; they will help you establish the figure for your household size ($roughly $17K gross/year for 2 people).

If you still want to use real estate assets, supply a valuation (from a RE agent, apraisal or evidence of market value) and document that you hold title free and clear.

Mutual funds etc: I used my account statements. Note that the assets must be able to be liquid within 12 months; some investments won't qualify for that.
