Yeah, it was relatively quick. I lost about two months because I couldn't get a new medical exam done any earlier. If I could have, it likely would have been faster. I'm not sure the order they work on things, either, to be honest.

I hope you hear something soon!

Congratulations!!!

I felt you made a right decision to do a fresh medical after receiving RFE on it rather than exploring other options.

Thanks. I'm still bitter about having to pay an extra $280, but oh well.

Yet mine and many others that filed before these people filed their petitions have still not been touched nor approved. I am really starting to get upset with this process because there is no reason for EAD/AP to be approved in 27 days while others have been waiting 67 days plus.

The reply to our service request after we hit 180 days waiting on the AOS. Talk about a word smithed response that says absolutely nothing. We still don't know if they have our case or lost it somewhere. And it took two weeks to send a boiler plate response. I guess I didn't really expect much better, but here's to hoping the expeditiously fashion an effort to adjudicate our AOS application. I guess "we're busy, we'll get to it when we get to it" didn't sound impressive enough.

Exactly what we got too. I called customer service, got transferred to a Tier 2 person who actually started to explain to me how these were processed on a 'first come, first serve' basis. I politely cut her off and told her that is simply not true and we both know it. She didn't argue with that and agreed to put in another service request. This whole process is such complete bs....

Guys, we all have learned that there is not such thing as normal processing times , but just wanted to tell you I got the same letter on May 27th for my son's case and yesterday we got a RFE mail, for me it is good news, it means they finally look at the application and we are waiting for the hard copy to send what ever it is they need. Hope you hear something soon too!!!!! And remember to keep pushing and calling until you get what you deserve.

I called them yesterday and found out that it is 5 to 6 months for CSC to process AOS. It is a long wait.

What they say changes like the wind, what they are doing is all over the board to. What they are doing is 4 to 9 months. I've heard 4 months, 5 to 6 months, 7 months and 8 to 9 months being quoted recently. If you look at the timeline here, you'll see many of us over 6 months and still waiting. While other transfer cases are getting them in 4 months.

I applied for AOS 11/28/2011, and did my biometrics 1/06/2012. I have received my EAD already but regretfully did not apply for AP originally. My case was transferred to CSC 03/12/2012 and I have yet to hear anything. My mom is getting married at the end of October this year and I'm terrified I won't be able to travel by then. It seems like there is no way to get any information, and even if you do it is completely unreliable, it is so upsetting to me. I am going to send in my AP application tomorrow, I'm really kicking myself for not doing it originally but I didn't think I would need it and then this wedding came as a last minute sort of thing. Could contacting my congressman help?

Mine was approved today, GC production ordered. After 6 months, 2 weeks and 2 days of waiting. Two service requests, two congressional inquiries (congressman and senator) and a handful of phone calls to the misinformation hotline. I'm still pissed off because of the randomness and unfairness of the process and the lack of information. And all the inconvenience. Unreal. Good luck to everyone, wish you all speedy decisions! As we'd been promised.... Lol.

Congrats. Looks you mailed one day before us, hope we're soon notified to. Enjoy your time out of the waiting game for a while.
