I so much believe u lady, if u look at the way they pair people up for approval nowadays, it's in double of d same local office. So u may see a January filer & November filer being paired for d same approval date. This is my guess from the study of recent approval on VJ anyway, not official. What do you think?

I think they put random boxes on the shelf with a ignore until date label on them and laugh every time they walk by. Ok that was just a joke, what I really think happens is boxes full of applications get brought to the cubes of those working on them. Some adjudicators are slow and lazy and don't bother to grab the oldest box on the bottom of the pile. So those that happen to get on the bottom of a stack of boxes sit there until a service request or some supervisor kicks them in the butt to get the old ones done. Then they might or might not remember to get the box on the bottom.

61 days and counting still no touches on my EAD/AP. ETA in VJ was May 25 to 27 on AP and May 28 to May 30 for EAD. I mailed in my paperwork on March 30, 2012. I am starting to wonder if USCIS has lost my petitions. All the timelines I have viewed show EAD/AP being approved in 52 to 55 days. Today is day 61 for mine :(

Have a little bit of patience. EAD/AP shouldn't be a concern. You're most likely less than a week away from adjudication for EAD/AP.

Absolutely agree Caryh !!!!!! Mine was in the ignored shelf until i called hundreds of times and finally got the Service request :bonk: But silly me I didn't follow up my sons AOS (filed along with mine the same day, same day biometrics and same day transferred to CSC. Now I was able to put a SR for my son case too and the wait continues.....

All of you who are waiting more than 6 months call USCIS, call and call again until you get lucky and find somebody helpful on the phone. Good luck guys!!!

Its very disheartening to see people that submitted their AOS/EAD/AP after March 30, 2012 getting approved and already receiving their EAD/AP card and mine sits still untouched. They even sent to the same location. I swear that USCIS has lost my petitions :(

After 7 Months we were allowed to put in a service request. The tier 1 customer service person chalked it up to my local office being to busy for an interview...? Don't think she really knew what she was really talking about... My husband is beyond frustrated and stressed not having his AOS yet. I keep reasuring him it's just due to being backed up or lost on some ones desk.

My case was transfered back in January, I just received my approval/green card production notice today.

Congrats. So you got an RFE for something they lost and still got it this fast! Probably doesn't seem fast to you, but we filed a month before and still have heard nothing, and transfered a month before to. I just don't understand the order they're working on things.

Yeah, it was relatively quick. I lost about two months because I couldn't get a new medical exam done any earlier. If I could have, it likely would have been faster. I'm not sure the order they work on things, either, to be honest.

I hope you hear something soon!
