AOS Transferrees' Thread

Which puts my wife about 7 months after mailing. But then I see so many people that have gotten their's much faster which appeared to have been transfered to the CSC. Transfer date was Dec 16th for us. When did CSC actually receive it? There's another open question, a week later, two weeks later? You can't even look up a processing time for the CSC doing family based AOS. Over all processing time for AOS is supposed to be 4 months, so did the faster processing actually mean the average while ignoring all those transfered to the CSC?

I know, "faster processing" indeed. The whole thing is frustrating as hell.

It usually takes a week from transfer from NBC to receiving at CSC. Most people get a notification saying the case has been received at CSC (in addition to the one that says it was transferred), but perhaps yours went astray.

Our case was transferred to CSC in May 2011 and stayed there until Jan 2012 and then transferred to local office for an interview...... all was approved and now he finally got his green card in April 2012.

Filed Nov 21, 2011, received at NBC Nov 22, NOA dated Nov 28, 2011. Here's what I'm confused about: My transfer notice date is Dec 19, but right above it, the receipt date is Nov 25. So this means that the CSC received my file Nov 25, correct? Or not?

Anyways, I was able to put in a service request yesterday, we'll see....

Hey all,

I got my ead card picked up by USPS and was reported delivered after 7 days on the USCIS online status. The issue that came up now is that it showed 'USPS has returned your card as undeliverable'. The situation was that we moved from our home to an apartment and we felt we should go and change our address at the post office alone so that any mail will be routed to our p.o.box instead of going to make a change of address to the USCIS. We felt it may slow things up! But rather the EAD was not delivered at the p.o.box but rather it was returned to the USCIS.

Questions:

1.) How do we go about getting it back?

2.) If we update the address does it get sent back automatically or their is a way to make a request for it?

3.) Hope this will not affect our AOS case in CSC?

Transferred to Csc March 6th.

I am still waiting for my EAD/AP to be approved. How many users have had theirs approved by the ETA date on Visa Journey? My ETA is May 26, 2012. So I will wait and see what happens in a week or 2.
