We filed for AOS at the end of October 2011 and were transfered at the end of Nov 2011. We've called several times since now we are really outside our processing time the said to call back in two weeks if we didn't receive anything at this point. So we will watch and wait. MAN I LOVE TO WATCH PAINT DRY ON THE WALLS!!

Not wanting to put your efforts down but you are aware that you can filter the immigration timelines for AOS by transferred cases, right?

You can, and you can even select type of visa. The problem I run into is they show too few per page and our case is about 30 pages deep when sorted by transfer date and only K-1. It takes a while to dig down that deep

I agree that it can be frustrating to have the number of displayed cases that low - any MOD out there reading? Other timelines on VJ have the option to go to up to 50 per page, any chance to get that as well for AOS timeline, pretty please? -- but you can also sort by the columns, so I tend to sort by approval date to get a gist of which cases seem to be worked on at the moment and then confirm by sorting by transfer / application date and jump forward several pages at a time to see where the number of approved cases outnumber those that haven't had any action yet...

Well I emailed CSC directly after phone calls to the USCIS got me nowhere, and got a reply. They said they have 6 months to make a decision from the date they received the case from NBC, so they won't help yet.

Which puts my wife about 7 months after mailing. But then I see so many people that have gotten their's much faster which appeared to have been transfered to the CSC. Transfer date was Dec 16th for us. When did CSC actually receive it? There's another open question, a week later, two weeks later? You can't even look up a processing time for the CSC doing family based AOS. Over all processing time for AOS is supposed to be 4 months, so did the faster processing actually mean the average while ignoring all those transfered to the CSC?
