Ok .. yesterday it was on status Card Production not it's on Decision...

On September 5, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

....

.... What does this mean?? and what is ADIT processing? Can anyone enlighten me?

Appreciated

Hi guys, I just wanted to let you all know that yesterday my AOS was approved. I contacted the Ombudsman last week and yesterday I had just sent the paperwork to the Senator's office and they were going to call USCIS. A little bit over 4 hours after I faxed the paperwork I received the text on my phone, today I got 2 other updates but only saw one saying that "we registered this customer's permanent residency" or something like and to wait for the welcome letter in the mail. What a relief and the good news came right after I found out I am going to be an aunt again. Happy day!

I wish you all luck and guess I'll see ya's on ROC!

P.S: @Shendon, I got the same thing on mine as you can see above, I have no clue what it means either and I guess its not a big deal (I hope). Now just wait for the card in the mail and have a break from USCIS for a good bit. Congrats by the way!

Contacted the USCIS today to find out what is going on with my case. Was told that it is "in Use" and has been since the middle of august.

But a piece of information that might be helpful to others is that the Tier 2 officer mentioned that if you change your address it can slow down the case for up to 90 days!!!

in use?

as lunch room reading?

as example for new trainee's how complete documentation should look like?

I am waiting for my own papers to get processed but looking at your timeline, I feel sorry for you.

I emailed CSC last August 15, 2012 and received an automated reply that basically says use the email as follow up and need to call first the National Customer Service and ask me to send a follow email again with inquiry number that was given when you called the NCSC, the name of the representative, and the date that you place the call etc. I never call because I wasn’t past the 180 days yet, I emailed them just to try if it works. So I never replied the email and never call customer service but on September 6, 2012, I received another email saying the same thing and today September 10, 2012 the status of my application is on CARD/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION. I even log in on my USCIS account to make sure I have the right receipt number and it is!! I can rest now for a while and can get things done!! Good Luck to those who are waiting!

Thank you God. Just received info that my GC is on card production. I checked it one minute earlier and nothing. Then the text messages came and I checked the USCIS website and there it was. My husband and I together with our cat danced together to celebrate.

was curious enough to look it up: http://forums.immigration.com/showthread.php?263212-What-is-ADIT-processing

it's a data collection form. ADIT : Alien Documentation, Identification, & Telecommunications System.

Record of personal and biographical information such as name, date of birth, picture and fingerprint coordinates, height, mother's first name, father's first name, city/town/village of birth.

and explained little more in detail: http://www.usimmigrationlawyers.com/resources/immigration-law/green-card/the-green-card-process-adit-processing-explained.htm

that doesn't make any sense as everyone has their biometrics taken and passport photos need to be sent when applying...
