Yeah! I can understand why you're not happy but I pray for the same favor that I receive to be upon you so that you ll be happy too.

Thank you for starting this forum, it's being a blessing and an eye opener where necessary.

All the best to everyone! Now it's time to thank the Lord, rest and prepare for ROC.

Sorry man, it was late in the night. I am definitely glad you're approved.

If anything I am taking it as a good sign for the rest of us who are in the same boat. Hopefully we are going to be approved soon enough.

Congrats once again.

I finally received a response from one of the 5 people (Service request, Ombudsman, congressman, 2 senators) I've contacted for help with our AOS. It reads: "USCIS records indicate the I-485 case MSCXXXXXXX is currently under review with an officer. Your constituent should receive a notice of action within 45 days." To say that I am underwhelmed is quite an understatement. Is this the standard response? I checked today, and our case still hasnt been touched since 02/03/2012.

In the exact same boat as yourself, I contacted my local Congressman Mike Honda's office last week and got a reply that the USCIS current processing time frame for I-485 is 12-18 mths and that they couldnt help until im outside that time :wow: well im coming up on 9mths since I filed

It's interesting where they got that information. Did you inform them that you are not filing for an employment based application (which seems to be the timeframe they are quoting you there) and they don't publish the family based AOS timeframes? I'd write back and notify them that CSC's timeframe for family based AOS is (or was) 180 days from transfer. Better yet, get your senator to help. They seem to be a bit more organized in this area and probably more informed on the difference in I-485 applications.

Your timeline is very similar to mine.

Total elapsed time between filing I-129F to GC in hand 569 days or 1 Year, 6 months, 22 days.

Looking at the trends of other types of applications there has been a huge increase in the number of EAD application receipts and completions. I wonder if CSC are focussing on getting these cleared as a priority.

Just looked at the updated trends, they continue to get worse....

I filed my AOS paperwork on March 30, 2012 and the priority date on my I797c is April 6, 2012. My case was transferred to CSC for faster (slower) processing on May 8, 2012. I am coming up on the 5 month mark in the next couple weeks. Guess I will have to contact my senator and congress person shortly there after to see what they will do in the State of Virginia.
