Grats! You're so lucky!!!

We applied in May, and were transferred to CSC in June. Still waiting (very anxiously) for EAD and AP. No changes on the website, though I understand they kind of suck at updating that. I can't even get my drivers' license until I get my GC due to some idiots at Motor Vehicles. Right now I just want my AP so I can go visit my extremely elderly Grandparents next month! Wish there was some way I could poke USCIS to get my that AP! They have the dates we are supposed to travel but I doubt that will help anything!

@Xera--wishing you the best in all. Re: drivers' license: Don't know what you've tried already, but some individuals here on VJ plus a personal acquaintance of mine have found that presenting the I-797c ("NOA") for the AOS submission is sufficient for some Motor Vehicles offices to issue license [even before EAD/GC receipt]. Best of luck wished to you in all aspects of this process. --RK & Inday

What is required varies by state. At the DMV web site for the state, you should be able to find out what's required where you live. Although there are some states that require a green card before you can get a drivers license. If they accept another document and the local people are denying you, get a print out from their web site of the actual rules they have in place. Here the I-94 worked, the EAD card worked and the green card. Between the I-94 and the EAD you're out of luck.
