Listen do not go by the timeline. My I130 got approved just under 5 months. At one time during my wait it had changed to like June 2011. It will continue to fluctuate because they some how review and realize that they may have a couple of cases that still need to be processed from that time frame, and then next thing you know it will say 5 months again. You need to just at least wait out the five months before you start to flip. If the timeline did not exist we all would feel better. Please just stick to the 5 months. Once it hits that then you call and question.

Also, I never had a touch and then my case was approved. Trust me dont feed into a lot of this stuff.

The K-1 does not produce a green card nor go through a green card process like the CR-1 does before they enter the USA. The K-1 has to apply AFTER entry and marriage which adds another 4-5 month wait for LPR status.

CR-1 does the process at the NVC which takes longer causing their longer processing/process and CR-1 entrants get a green card on entry to the USA auto LPR status.

NVC processing times are not calculated for the USCIS processing update reports (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do). They only report on their portion.

I-129f and I-130 processing times are about the same at USCIS (5 months).

It's OK to freak out, it's a very stressful process. And don't think it will be exactly 5 months to the day, could be more, could be a little less. our i 130 was processed in 97 days through VSC. I applied in December it was approved in March. Hopefully it will be just as fast for everyone else too. At all stages of the process it is stressful. And you never know at what stage. I was told that USCIS was a the most difficult, and for us it was at the NVC, many errors on their part. So just try to relax if that is possible. It isn't over for us yet but we are hoping soon. Happy Friday. cool.gif

As others have already told you...probably looked at the wrong line? If you saw the "overall, all visas processed", there is a long time timeline they have listed. I've been watching them, and most are in 5-7 mon time frame.

Make sure to read all things throughly, as questions here if you have any, and prepare everything ahead of time!! Especially read the Guideline section, on how and when to forward information. Good luck, and we're all in the same boat...Have Patience!:bonk:
