ok,here i am with another question...i am reading this http://travel.state....ioner_documents

and it says petitioner documents...so the petitioner has to provide his/hers birth certificate as well?

And a marriage certificate too..again???????

This is crazy!

Ok sorry....i read further...thats if we are applying for IR5...phew

Well for the NVC you do submit the Birth certificate and marriage license the originals now are required.

I'm not getting the "applying for IRS".

Know yer visa type that yer applying for - as it makes a bit o difference when yer following the instructions. Not much, but a bit...

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hey can I ask a DS-230 question on #33 the "List below all educational institutions attended" do you list all you ever went to or after a certain age?

Now that i am thinking...they are gonna need a photo copy of my passport...and i should probably notarize it,in front of a notary,right?

So they'll know that's a real copy of it!

Am i right?

I didn't have mine notarized, just a plain photocopy. Not even signed and dated. But we haven't sent our IV packages yet, so I couldn't say for sure. But it doesn't mention anywhere that it needs to be notarized, so I HOPE plain photocopy is fine. (so we don't get an RFE, too. :P )

You dont have to Wait for NVC instructions. As long as your payment status says PAID, you can mail the package.

I know what its written there,.,,,But i wanna know,if NVC sends instructions e-mail?

Those links are really helpful,and i thank you for redirecting me there all the time...but me and my husband are doing it our own way, we wont do anything until they ask for it.Thats our way.

So i'll be really grateful for a straight answer,if someone knows it.Thank you!
