Hello, to all of you who can possibly read my concern,

Im filipina, to make story short, i was in usa 2 years ago, got married to a us citizen. But marriage failed ,we argued a lot and things went bad, i unintentionally head butted him,he called police and have me arrested.I served my time in jail for 15 days....after that they gave me chance to stay but i refused and chose to go back my country, i requested for voluntary deportation.I was deported after more than 2 months.....

Now im back here in Philippines, trying to move on,i contacted my husband's daughter to see if our divorce was finalized, she said it was being filed but was dropped because my husband did not finish the paper works.

,my problem is that..my husband didnt communicate with me anymore, i only get limited information about things from his daughter.Last few weeks ago, they promise me to file the divorce and agreed to fix this things.I waited for two weeks,I called them again this last few days, and no answers or anything.I also contacted the courthouse and they confirmed there is no divorce filed.

I would like to ask for help, advice or anything that would help me ...i want to file a divorce i would like to know if there is anything i can do how to file it from here.Please.....help me any expert here please teach me how to do things.........

I just wanted to salute your honesty.

I think you need to find a way to open up a dialogue with your Husband, or alternatively perhaps find a mutual friend or religious organization that can help broker open communications so that you can get the divorce done. I would assume he wants to get it done too so he can move on.

Best of luck in the future.

They promised me, to file it, its been (3) weeks now.But after that, suddenly she never answer phone calls....or emails.I don't know what's going on.Lawyer is demanding 3,thousand dollars for him to file it,money which i cannot afford.I lived there for 9 months, before the incident happened.I dont know what he wants now.If he want to move on,then why he wont do it at all.I had been begging them for 2 years now to do this but they never did.Is a religious group can help me??? if ill send someone to file it for me is it possible??on my behalf? Judge said i have to be there to file the divorce myself, but i cant, first of all i am banned for 10 years for coming to usa.

i dont know what to do anymore.....i have a friend from pensylvania, she belongs to a religious group...we had been exchanging emails for the past 2 years. You think she help me to file the divorce??? from there??? please anyone help me....

Maybe you should just give it some time before you contact the daughter again. Perhaps she is tired of being in the middle and just wants to stay out of it. Your husband could be trying to get the money together to start the divorce process or possibly come to terms with the fact that your marriage has ended.

Patience is key in a situation like this. Are you in a rush for any particular reason or do you need the divorce decree for closure?

It's been more than two years now since they keeps promising to file the divorce.I have to move on, i already failed my previous relationship because of this. The fact that i am still legally married to him until now,is giving me hard time to move on.Someone told me, within the past (2) years he should had done responsibilities towards me.I am still his wife legally. That i am still entitled for a claims. But that wasn't came into my mind till this days that i realized i found out,if ill go back to united states i am still his wife. But with all of that, i never ask for anything but to finish the divorce.

I dont know, someone told me,i should claim something from him......his negligence over the past 2 years is ruining my life even more after he dumped me in jail.
