You need to call USCIS and speak to a tier 2 officer. Not the first person who picks up the phone.

In some cases ROC NOA takes up to 2-3 weeks to show up in the mailbox.

If your employer uses E-verify you probably will be fine, otherwise you may need to wait for extension provided by NOA or set up the InfoPass appointmeit to get I-551 stamp.

That is, if your application has been accepted. Have they cashed your check?

It typically takes 2-4 weeks to get the NOA1. Bring your expired green card and a copy of the receipt from the Post Office for the filing of the renewal.

did they cash your check yet? If they cashed your check it was not rejected. BUT it can take a week to 10 days to cash the check. Just too soon to tell anything

You need to call USCIS and speak to a tier 2 officer. Not the first person who picks up the phone.

It was received SEVEN DAYS AGO! Weekends don't count. Our NOA1s took about 2 weeks to arrive and about week to cash the check. Everyone take a breath.

He did say that they did use the e-verify, so they can see my status that way?

The reason I was panicky was because I looked up other people's time lines and it didn't seem like theirs took this long, I was unaware that it could take a little bit longer on the ROC.

IF your application was accepted AND I-797 issued, an extension SHOULD be in the system. You never know with USCIS, though.
