NVC has your petition before you get the NOA2 in the mail. Approved petitions and other documents are sent by delivery truck each day from the VSC to the NVC a couple hours drive away. They do not hold them. They have no need or desire to. CSC may use a different route, but it is out of the office the same day, or next day, after they approve it.

The problem you are experiencing is that the telephone operators you talk to are not infomred of the case status until usually after it has already been forwearded to the consulate. The phone operaotrs do not even work for NVC, they are contracted and answer from a menu of answers. "Call again in 15 days" is one of them. No part of this process is designed for processing by telephone.

You will get a mail notification from the NVC when your case has been forwarded to the consulate. They have it.

Calling will only increase your level of frustration.

These packages are the ones that are enroute to the embassy. When your case is complete at NVC this is a way you can check to see if any are going to India without having to call so often But calling is fine too. There's no way of knowing if this is a certain persona case being transferred It's a guess. One way to know for sure is when NVC tells you the date they mailed your package out to the embassy, then you know for sure the one for that date your watching at DHL.com is your package. It's fun to watch it move along to the destination :)

ohh ok..thank you..so i dont know if you know about this but..do you think each case stay at least for certain time at NVC?? or there are some dont stay there at all?

1 day to 8 weeks or more. Ours was in and out in less than one week and was on its way to the consulate before I got the NOA2 for the petition in the mail, and the VSC is in the town next to mine!...but I did not know that until after I got the NOA2, of course.

I never called NVC or USCIS. Our case was never updated, is still listed as "intial review" we never got a "touch" an email or a text. Alla is a citizen now.
