Weird things happening with AOS

My case was transferred to California when my local office is Philadelphia. The guy in customer service said he knows it is in Philly by looking up my address not because he can see it was transferred to Philly. It has been 7 months so they are going to do an inquiry to try to locate my paper work.

My thought is maybe they confused Lancaster PA with Lancaster CA and my paper work is sitting in California.

If they lost my paper work will I have to send in copies or start all over? Has this happened to anyone else?

Its not weird.

More than half the AOS papers are transferred to CSC for faster processing.

Generally people who are transferred to CSC do not have interviews and just have to wait until their approval comes.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

It definitely didn't speed things up. :bonk:

As we get closer to the expiration of her drivers license the more worried we get. She only has 3 more months of identification left.

The customer service people generally are rather confused on this whole process. I don't think most are aware AOS's are being transfered to to California for the slower processing.

Transferred in June, Green Card received in August? Wish they could still work that fast, or even half as fast. Seven to eight months seems the norm for CSC at the moment.
