Hi everyone,

I am a US citizen and I am petitioning for my mother to come to the US.

I've read about the template email form of DS-3032 on this website. My question is whether I can set up a new email address for my mother and then email it for her because she doesn't speak one word of English or own a computer. I know in this case it sounds like that she can communicate in English. Would that be a problem in the future?

Thank you very much !

What you'res suggesting is fine. Many people (petitioners) here send the DS-3032 on behalf of their spouse, either because their spouse doesn't have a computer (or know how to use it well enough) or due to language. As long as everything is correct in the email, NVC will accept it.

Since you're going through China, I highly suggest doing EP. The wiki (by Darnell) can be found here: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing

I just started the process and all the info online is a little bit overwhelming to me.

I am going to study the link from you.

ya, take a few days to learn the process, and practice filling out the forms.

suggest you do EP at NVC - it shaves time later.

The DS-3032 will have to be filled out, yer NOT using the email template for FORM DATA.

Good Luck ! [find Ryan's topic - the steps will be the same for you]

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hi Darnell,

Thanks lot for the advice!

Do you mean I should NOT use the DS-3032 Template form? How should I email it then?

I am still learning every day. I can't find Ryan's topic you mentioned about? Could you send me the link ?

Thanks again !
