Treat it like you are going to a job interview.

Proper clean nice looking clothing. Proper shoes.

Not like a mess with torn dirty clothes.

Look presentable. :) When my fiancé goes to his interview, I'm going to suggest to him to wear nice slacks, polo or button up shirt, nice shoes, shave, etc. Since I'll be attending it with him, I'll also wear nice slacks (I'm not really a dress/skirt kind of girl), nice shirt, my best shoes, tasteful jewelry, etc.

Personally I don't like the idea of wearing jeans, but to each their own. I'd imagine that people do.
