I got this email at 1:30 am. Weird time right? Is this my NOA1?

Yes, that's the NOA1. EAC is the Vermont Service Center.

Yep You'll receive the letter receipt shortly as stated. EAC is part of your number and is assigned to numbers at Vermont. WAC is assigned to California. Not sure what it means as it is not in the abbreviations list on this site, but I was thinking something like East Adjudication Center and West Adjudication Center. This is just my speculation though. Maybe, someone knows. Just know it is part of your number when referring to case status.

Yes, that's the NOA1. EAC is the Vermont Service Center.

I'm not sure if the numbering system is still the same because things used to be filed directly to the service center. Now with the Texas Lockbox step, the number assignment could be different. Check it out and see if your number follows this pattern.

What your number means:

Example- EAC1211450303

EAC - Vermont Service Center (formerly named Eastern Adjudication Center).

xx: The fiscal year of USCIS, from October 1 to September 30. Cases filed from 10/01/2011 to 09/30/2012 will have xx = 12

yyy: The working day of the fiscal year when your case is received. October 1 = 001. The example number is a March filing...114 working days past October 1.

z : Either 5 (in database) or 0 (paper files) K1s are database

nnnn: A serial number assigned to your case based on the number of cases received that day, starting from 0001. It's all cases, not just K1s.
