Hi people!

Just sharing some feelings...

Well, we filled our k1 on July, 7th - New IMBRA forms, pounds and pounds of evidence... Everything perfect, correct, checked it out thousand and thousand times...

We received a RFE e-mail on 09/22/2006. We suffered trying to "find it out" WHAT more they could be

asking for it! Since we SENT IT them all! Definetelly!

On 09/27 finally with RFE by snal mail in hands, we saw it, they asked for MORE evidence of our last meeting...

My love worked hard, got everything read and sent it to them, they received our pack on October, 3th.

Then we've had been checking the USCIS site, since them. We didn't understand WHY they received our pack (tracking by USPS) on october, 3 and till today (10/11) no updatesç no e-mails, at least saying they got our RFE response...

Of course, my love called them TODAY and believe or not, they said they didn't have any info about out case yet... Like a miracle :innocent: 45 minutes after that, we received one e-mail from USCIS saying they received our RFE response TODAY!

One week passed since they received our response... And to those people who are going throw this process know who much one week can mean whenever we are WAITING.

Do you know what I think about it? I'm sure they received all pack last week and probably people didn't even take a look at them, and after this calling today, they "figured it out" we've already sent RFE response to them!

So, to those who USCIS sent RFE, it worth calling USCIS after sending your response... Just in case, someone forgot it to check it out!

Good luck to us! (L)

One week to receive the email update or status change regarding a received RFE response is actually on the fast side. They receive thousands and thousands of pieces of mail daily - you do have to give them time to get everything opened and entered into the system. Might be a good idea to plan on this going forward - for example, it took more than two weeks for them to send me the hard copy NOA2. Good luck for a speedy approval.

I just found out today, previous thread, that people who received their NOA2 in early late August / early September are STILL waiting for thier packets to be forwarded to NVC - so don't get too excited about the NOA2 I guess either :(

I'm still waiting for them to aknowledge receipt of my RFE too...

Same boat here.......an RFE in Sept about a divorce paper, sent info back to them, then they sent email and website update that they received it on Oct 1. Now, silence......for 2 weeks. I think after an RFE other cases leapfrog yours. Trying to be patient here as I am sure you are.
