Case Number: TKY##########

Applicant Name: ####

Dear Immigrant Visa Applicant:

This is to inform you that the National Visa Center (NVC) is transferring your immigrant visa file to U.S. Embassy Tokyo upon your or your representative’s recent request.

The NVC will send the immigrant petition and all supporting documents which you already sent to the NVC. If you have any of those supporting documents including civil, police and financial (I-864) documents with you, please DO NOT send them to the NVC. All those documents are collected at the embassy in Tokyo on your visa interview date. If you have not paid visa processing fees to the NVC yet, fees will be collected at the embassy also.

In the meantime, you may prepare the medical documents for your immigrant visa processing.

For information on visa application procedure and required documents, please visit our website at : http://japan.usembassy.gov/e/visa/tvisa-ivapplication.html

The Next Steps:

We will send a notice to you once we receive the immigrant visa case file from the NVC.

If all of supporting documents are in the file, we will schedule an appointment for your visa interview.

If you need to present additional documents at time of visa interview, we will inform you. Then, you may respond to the notice to request an appointment as soon as all documents are ready.

Please DO NOT reply to this e-mail. This e-mail has been automatically generated and we will not process any replies.

Most answers to your additional visa-related questions can be found on our website at http://japan.usembassy.gov/visas.html.

After reading all the information available on this website and its links, if you still need additional information, please contact us via any of the means shown at http://japan.usembassy.gov/e/visa/tvisa-contact.html.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

It really doesn't matter if your case was expedited or not. It's in Tokyo now, so proceed as instructed by the IV unit in Tokyo.

Your case has been expedited.

DO NOT send any more documents to the NVC. Your local beneficiary's us embassy will review the application file once they receive it and send you correspondence. This correspondence can possibly include the date of your visa interview and any missing documents that are needed. Just gather everything (AOS, IV Package, Documentation, Proofs etc...) and hold on to anything that hasn't been sent to the NVC yet. You will be asked to present anything that is missing at the visa interview.

Now, just wait for your local beneficiary's us embassy to contact you. In the meantime, you might want to be ready to get your medical completed, as you will need that to be done *before* the scheduled interview date.

Good luck.

what is 'on time' please?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
