The Manila embassy does NOT send out a packet, everything is done online. They do mail out the appoinment letter, but don't wait for that, when you schedule your interview online print a couple copies of the confirmation page and use that. Some don't receive the appointment letter until after they are in the states...

Fee amount is wrong in the embassy letter now but all the other info is correct still: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/306605/atienzalb/Revised%20K1%20Instruction%20Packet%20_3_.pdf

If you submitted Form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance. You will receive updates on your I-129f petition via email or TXT message. You can also check the status of your case here.

Once approved, they will send the NOA2 via USPS to your home address you put on the I-129f. The average wait time between NOA1 to NOA2 is 5 - 6.5 months.

I hope you meant visit the Philippines once you get the NOA2 and start the Visa Application for the Beneficiary in Philippines? Remember the K-1 (fiance(e)) visa is intended for marriage here in the United States. Once married, you will need to file for Adjustment of Status (AOS), EAD and Advance Parole (Optional).

I have a Visa Application, St. Luke's Medical and CFO guide you can follow for reference.

As for the police clearance. The beneficiary will need to get that police clearance for the interview. As it is a requirement. What country does she need the police clearance from?

The forms download page can be found here: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3224.html. The USEM website. There is an english and tagalog version. These are updated to include the recently new fee change. As far as I know, that is all that has changed (I have the old copy too). The form is not a "sample" but is a generalized list. It is standard in other words. You will be required to follow all it says. Yes, some things won't apply. For example, my fiancee never left the country. She doesn't get any police clearance from other countries. She will just need her NBI clearance from her own country. Just study over it and obtain all things that apply to you. Birth certificate, CENOMAR, NBI, evidence of engagement, the required DS forms; these are things everyone needs, but we all weren't previously married or in the military or have prison records.

Yes, some things won't apply.

Most people will get only the MMR and the Tdap shots at St. Lukes...and some will get a varicella shot.

If it's flu season, they will give you a flu shot too.

That's about it.

I am still in Manila, flew here once I got notice from NVC with the MNL # and had the interview scheduled, I arrived a week before the interview and will be flying home tomorrow.
