Hello VJ'ers,

I received my hard copy of the NOA2 today for my approved I-129F petition. This is my second I-129F petition, which was approved in conjunction with an IMBRA Waiver for limitations. I hard copy says it has been sent to the Manila Consulate and not the NVC. It also has the standard lingo of being entered into a multiple K1 petition database, which is what I expected since it is my seconf k1 petition. So I have no way of finding the MNL case number now, because it looks like it will not be processed by the NVC. Has anyone had this happened to them where it is sent directly to the Manila Embassy or any other countries embassy? I have the number to call for the interview, but I don't know if they will be able to help me or tell me what the MNL case number is once they receive the petition. THe number I have is (214) 571-1600 and I can calll between 8pm to 8am Manila time. Any information from someone that this has happened to would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry but all cases have to pass through the NVC first and be given a US embassy number and put into the system before being sent to the US embassy. Regardless of what your NOA2 says on it the case will stop at the NVC for a brief time to be given a number.

Call the NVC or the DOS and get your case number from them.
