Hi Vjrs

I am december filer and hoping to get NOA2 very soon. My question is how long does it take to get police clearance in England. Shall i apply now for PC or shall i wait till i get my NOA2.

Im not sure how long it takes to get the police certificate but UK ones are valid for 1 year so you will be ok to do it now if you choose to.

I applied for mine on 4th april and got it back on 24th, so in my case it took a bit longer but I ordered it a bit in advance as I would have been travelling out of the country and wanted to be sure I had it just in case we receive our NOA2 while Im visiting family in Italy, got it with me in case I get to do medical, just in case :) think I am being too positive haha!

Should we have ordered two copies? Or can we photocopy the one that we're taking to the medical and bring a copy to the interview?

They will make a copy of your PC at the medical and give the original back to you. So, you will not need two copies.
