Depends on what is your purpose and privilege you are seeking after you become a citizen. If you desperately want to be a USC just to stand on Citizen's line at the US airport, you don't have to to be USC; you can still stand on the same line if you are a representative/expat of foreign government or world organization.

Interesting!!Where can I get more information about that Penguin_ie or the Vjrs?

Here is the section in USCIS about US citizenship through military service.

Naturalization at Basic Training

USCIS and the Army established the Naturalization at Basic Training Initiative in August 2009 to give noncitizen enlistees the opportunity to naturalize when they graduate from basic training. (The Navy joined the initiative in 2010.) Under this initiative, USCIS conducts all naturalization processing including the capture of biometrics, the naturalization interview, and administration of the Oath of Allegiance on the military base so (in most cases) the recruit is able to graduate from basic training as a U.S. citizen.

How to Apply

Every military installation has a designated point-of-contact, generally in the personnel division or the Judge Advocate General’s Office, to assist members of the military prepare and file their naturalization application packet. That packet includes:

Application for Naturalization, USCIS Form N-400 (Members of the military are not charged a fee to file Form N-400.)

Request for Certification of Military or Naval Service, USCIS Form N-426 (The military must certify this form before sending it to USCIS. Individuals separated from the military may submit an uncertified Form N-426 with their DD Form 214.)

Once the packet is complete, send it to the specialized military naturalization unit at the USCIS Nebraska Service Center for expedited processing.

The fastest way to get citizenship after you get your greencard based on marriage to a USC is to hop onto a time-machine and travel 3 years (minus 90 days) into the future. That's when you can apply.

This is perhaps the funniest post I've ever read in my entire time as a VJ member! LMFAO!:rofl::rofl:

I'm gonna save the jokes, because they're easy to make, and assume you're well intentioned. You cannot just desperately apply for a visa on the fly. You're from a country whose applicants face much more scrutiny and if you have a history of just shooting visa applications wherever they'll suspect you even more. Don't scam a US citizen into marriage for this. Try the diversity lottery visa or a working visa.

After reading all of the previous topics from the OP, I feel so sorry for the girlfriend who is going to supposedly meet him next month. Dude, I have seen some pretty desperate people come on here, but you take the cake

Don't listen to these guys, OP. There's an even faster way to get citizenship.

Step 1: Become a lawful permanent resident

Step 2: Join a branch of the United States military and be sent to an area where hostilities are being conducted

Step 3: Get yourself killed in said hostilities

Step 4: Have some surviving family member fill out Application for N-644, Application for Posthumous Citizenship

Step 5: Profit!

If the word "fatest" came from word "fate", that's definitely the fatest way to become a citizen
